Introducing our new coffee offering from Myanmar, the Pway Na Phar. Grown in the village of Pway Na Phar, Ywangan at an elevation of 1,283MASL, this coffee brings to the table a unique blend of culture and quality. The landscape, characterized by its stony hills and crowned by four white Buddhist pagodas, provides a tranquil setting for coffee cultivation.

The name Pway Na Phar, which translates to “stony hill” and “continuous row”, aptly describes the village's terrain. Pioneering farmers, Daw Phyu Pu and Daw Mya Hnin, celebrated for their win in Myanmar’s inaugural cupping competition, lead the community in producing this high-grade coffee annually.

The Pway Na Phar coffee is deeply rooted in the traditions of the Danu Community, nestled between the towns of Ywangan and Pindaya in Shan State. Here, the local Shwe Taung Thu co-op brings together coffee growers across the region, fostering a sense of community and shared endeavor in coffee cultivation.

This offering is a testament to the skilled farmers and the cooperative spirit of the Danu community, making Pway Na Phar a notable name in Myanmar’s coffee landscape. The Catuai variety, processed using the Dry Natural method, reflects the dedication and rich cultural tapestry of the region in every cup.
