This Gesha comes from the volcanic soils of Nariño, grown by three producers: Abel Gómez, Segundo Obando, and Juan Carlos Jurado. Each of them has decades of experience, growing coffee at elevations between 1900 and 2000 meters. The unique climate and traditional farming practices of Nariño give this coffee a complex and vibrant flavor.
In the cup, you’ll get floral notes of honeysuckle, fresh orange, and the soft sweetness of white tea and powdered sugar. This coffee reflects the work being done in Nariño, where producers are exploring new varieties like Gesha while staying rooted in methods that have been passed down for generations.
This coffee is hand-harvested by family members, immediately depulped, and fermented in concrete tanks for 24 to 36 hours before being sun-dried over 18 to 24 days. The Ecoterra association checks the quality of every batch to ensure consistency and quality across the board.
